HOW TO SURVIVE THE STORM!! - Frostpunk Tips & Tricks

Right guys, welcome back to Frostpunk. I'm doing a mini series of tips & tricks consisting of 4 videos and this is video #3, how to survive the storm. This mini series is to help you guys out because this game can be really difficult. This is more showing you how the storm works and giving you a bit of experience before you encounter it yourself rather than directly giving you tips & tricks because it's fairly simple to actually survive it. Just make sure to stockpile a huge amount of resources because you can guarantee a lot of your citizens are going to die! (It reaches -150 degrees). This game is meant to be merciless to the player from the very beginning. Its challenging but each time I play through I survive a bit longer

I literally lasted until the last day of the storm and my people got mad at me and executed me mid storm like bruh I kept the generator going for your ungrateful asses until 2 hours after you killed me bruh.

The Faith path keeps ur people with more Hope in the storm, sadly my coal use was too high

Dude the charcoal building is better than the coal mines. I didn't research the mines and I still had 6 days of coal for the fully upgraded generator at max range. From my first play through I noticed that the infirmaries stayed nice and hot at - 120. Next time I will fill the crater with infirmaries.

the bifgest problem is that i basically ran out of food and i didnt have heart to turn down all the refugees and ended up with no food with over 700 people in the city. thay banished me at the end but still this game is awesome

I was Lucky i already played the last autum. On the Edge and a sandbox so i knew what to do to barely pass, (like 150 dead and very bad generator) but did It on first try.

The game lags near the end of storm? But I already play on lowest settings and get 6 fps will it crash? Edit: it didn't crash but ran on stable 3 fps 😢😢😢😢 I have an intel HD 2500. I finished the game on normal mode on a new home, had 357 survivers around 70% hope and 45%discontent just before the storm ended, this was my first time playing this game and before the storm started, I had 560ppl, only had lv 3 research in all categories (only the important once), one automation, all bunk houses, 1200 food I choose faith so got easy hope and had little food still did evening prayers whenever plausible Take faith for easy victory
