In Jamaica we call those sweet sops and call something else custard apple. I think they are both from the same family of fruit though, just a different variation. They are so delicious 😊

No you give misleading info. It's not that small necessarily means its unripe and big means ripe.

The riper one in this case bigger apple has a more significant yellowish or whiteish tinge around the outer edge of the fruit
"petals" is softer and it has a bit of give when you try to press it a bit.

And the unripe one the smaller apple here is much more green, harder when you hold it and does not give in.

We call them sugar apple in Antigua. U can put them in brown paper bag to let them ripe

They charge about 10$ a lb at one of the asian markets in town, soursop was going for 20$ a lb

Can they sit and rippen, off the tree? Some fruits continue to rippen even after being cut, and some don't.
