I wonder if you could use it as a/in a paint. It'd be super cool to be able to have parts of a painting switch from green to red under UV. Especially with some neon paints too.

Yes, plants are only green because it is the most efficient color to specifically capture the sunlight that gets through our atmosphere. They would probably be completely red on a planet where the atmosphere doesn't block UVs as well as ours. It's so interesting to think what life could look like if our world was just a tiny bit different..!
