How To Backup Your Drivers Easy

I should have told you to back it up on a flash drive. not the desktop sorry.

One of the main reasons why you would want to collect installed drivers is if you dont have the Driver CD that came with the computer or they are unavailable online. This comes in quite handy if you purchase a computer and want to backup the initial set of drivers. It can be quite difficulty for example to find drivers for hardware installed in a notebook if the operating system has to be setup again. Luckily these Driver backup programs can now lend you a hand with that and save you a lot of time.

What are the "DriverPacks"?

Each DriverPack is a package of drivers for a particular category of hardware. There are for example DriverPacks for Sound devices and for Graphics devices. For each of these DriverPacks we include every device driver of that category. On top of that, we solve tricky problems — such as driver conflicts — for you.

They are intended to be used while creating a Windows 2000, XP, 2003 or Vista (and soon Windows 7) installation disc/image.
Your Windows installation disc doesn't have drivers for all hardware, and over time the drivers it does have get out-of-date.

@SmokinMo11 ....are you wanting to back up ur Drivers or all of stuff like pics, music, and videos? if its just ur drivers then u can just put them on ur thumb drive. if its ur stuff then get a exturnal hard drive so you can to backup all of ur stuff. they normally have a program that will help u to do that.

@f1reki11er24.... yes and no, Yes u can put it on a USB and Yes it will restore almost all ur drivers. but some drivers can be picky and you might have to go to website and download drivers from the website... but the main thing you want is the network driver so you can get online. the graphic drivers you should download new drivers from the website from time to anyways so u can the latest drivers for it.
