The mathematics software called Sage can also do partial fraction decomposition if not interested in using Wolfram Alpha. It's such nice software overall.

I tried to avoid partial fraction decomposition
Integral Int(-x^3/(1-x^4), x) can be easily calculated by substitution u = 1 - x^4
Integral Int(x^2/(1-x^4), x) can be calculated by substitution v = (1-x)/(1+x)

The words w=3b1b and v=bprp are actually similar since if interpreted as functions [4]-->Sigma, we can choose a letter permutation pi in the symmetric group S_Sigma s.t. v = pi w.
