at 1:35 you don't explain why the second term in the series is part of the partial sum. You simply just put it there. if you get the next term in the series it will equal 1/16 which will cancel out -1/16. So why do we include the 1/2^ n+1 in the partial sum?

all of your videos have been very helpful, thank you. I have a question concerning this one: what's the process you use when n^2+3n+2=(n+1)(n+2) ? I'm having problems with the same type of limit, only mine has (3n^2)-4n+5 in the denominator.. and it's roots are imaginary :s thanks in advance, and congratulations on your project
