It seems to me the generic builds do not go up in value - its the brand name builds that seem to do well.

Many thanks for the insight evaluation!
I have a question, will second-hand (assembled) ultimate cars also increase values? Could anyone help to answer this question ❓

Speaking of construction, check out 42121 Heavy Duty Excavator. It has an RRP of $40 and retires this year. Currently selling on eBay for $80-$90 shipped.

Great content! Always setting yourself apart. Do feel the licensed themes perform well. But, you are correct, it is crucial to buy them at the right price!!!

Could you record a video about hogwart Castle? Do you expect double price for this one?

I like it very much that you do actual research before coming to conclusions!
It might have been relevant to also look at licensed vs non-licensed sets. In my opinion the licensed sets are performing much better, but I didn't do any research.

Good to know, always wondering about technic in investment, knew it was shaky at best but glad to see some real data

Thanks for the info. I wasn’t sure about technic so only invested in one set.

Would you think set 31208 wave off kanagawa would be a good investment?

Thanks for this video! I’m very new to the scene but i bought a Chiron because i saw the Porsche history and didnt think further then that. But i also bought it because i’m a carguy so for me it doesn’t bother me to keep it a few years on my schelve. But do you think sets (1:8 Technic) also will go down after for example 10 years?

If you ever wanted to take it to the next level, the "Extra Heavy-Duty" moving boxes at HomeDeopt have good demensions for proper storage. The "medium" and "extra-small" in particular.
That, with adhesive labels on the outside/front makes quick locating and inventory checking. The medium boxes fit great on most rack/ shelf systems. Used this system for ages. Really works. Take it easy.

Excellent analysis.
The opportunity cost is just too big for me, there are better Lego themes to invest in.

Never been a fan of Technic even as a wee lad. Now that I invest and also collect LEGO, I still haven't a single urge to even dabble into technic let alone sell it. Makes sense that the market is the way it is with the smal/medium sets. The big sets seem only worth it far and few between so yeah, I'll save the shelf space and collection space and stay far away from technic. I respect the theme and always have since the 80s but LEGO system is where its always been. Technic is MID.

Great video and content, cheers man.

Do you have any Lego sets older than 2019 or is that just when you decided to make money from this trend that everyone likes right now?…

The Porsche is all about the color of the pieces. Won't happen again.

Wtf? 3 months ago you added a video about lego sets for investment and contained Buggati Chiron and now you are considering this...

Lego is meant to be played, and technic gives amazing oportunities for learning and getting into engineering, so yes, you should.
