Lego resellers: good or bad?

They get mad because you sell a set for double or triple what the retail price was. What they don't take into account is the cost to store and sell the sets. There are many fees involved and profit is not that huge. They seem to believe that resellers exist to supply them retired sets for RRP, lol.

I’m half and half with Lego investing. It’s cool for those who missed out on the product/set that they wanted and or getting new into Lego. I only ever dislike the price points being a little overpriced but hey that’s everyone’s hustle at the end of the day

I think interest for a set can very well be artificially inflated by Lego investors. That doesn't necessarily mean that supply will hurt because of it.
The problem is when sets are about to retire. One thing I noticed is there was a number of close-to-retiring sets that I've been wanting for a long time (couldn't afford). Now with Christmas around the corner, I wanted to grab the set, but it's sold out everywhere or it's on the secondary market for 200% retail. The set isn't even retired.
After watching some Lego investor videos, I see a bunch of people recommending people invest in that same set (buying 5+ sets).
It's nice that there is a secondary market now, but now I can't hope to get that set being that the price will be unreachable for many now.

I had the thought to resell Legos, as it gives a lot of profit over time, and you get a lot of fun out of it! I have been a Lego fan since I was 3 or 4 years old, and I think it might be a fun thing to do now!

Lego resellers are good for consumers, hobby and Lego themselves. Whom from, if not resellers, we could've got the sets that lego isn't producing any more? Who are the main buying force which pushes Lego to create new and new sets? Resellers themselves never will be able to create lack of supply and they are buying exactly same period when each and everyone of us can buy literally almost each and every set (except localized editions and Gift sets)

It costs a fortune to invest n Any sets . If you do it better be a good set invest very very wisely . Don’t forget Disney makes billions of sets as well. No shortage when it’s Disney

Meanwhile clone accessory pack exist, lot of ‘investors’ bought it, and now it’s super expensive, and prices basically can be determined by a guy who bought 30 of them.
You also said that if the set sold well Lego would probably have it be out longer. Clone accessory pack was always sold out, did Lego increase its shelf life? No
