Let me know what you guys think for some Game Title Ideas! :D

Playing off the dream-like aesthetic going on, and also tying it to the card motif, could I suggest "Cytodeck", "Astrodeck" or "Astraldeck". This portmanteau's a couple key words and also looks runic, which works with the cult idea

You could add this enemies:
Explosive enemies: When they are near to the player they blow (they can be slow), you can add, fire explosive enemies for the volcano area and toxic explosive enemies for the acid area

Tank: Lot of life, slow, and lot of atack (clasic enemy)

Summon enemy: It summon some minions in a determinated time

Here's a game title idea, Cultish: Cards and Chaos, sounds lighthearted but also action packed, along with giving some details about the game. plus some alliteration which is never a bad thing

A blood themed level with blood fountains, gore bags full of organs and idols with alters to sacrifice victims to evil and mysterious entities with powers beyond comprehension. I would imagine this would be a pretty dark and grim late game level that really reflects the worst that your game might want to show, but it could be a fun way to commentary on how romanticized violence and bloodshed for our common man is in media and the human psyche but that’s just a thought and with that in mind, could be “cutsied up” or something lol I can imagine certain sprites juggling organs or slipping and sliding on blood as if it were a splash pad, or it could just be the little more grim dark level lol nevertheless, I think this cult could represent sacrifice, selfishness and perhaps if it fits better violence. I actually think the Lava Theme level would be perfect for like Ingenuity instead of pure violence. Like the saying the “Fire of Ingenuity”. I’m not sure if you’d want to change something you’ve already thought about, but I think that it could represent the chaotic violence that comes with pyromania, while this theme represents more of like organized and coordinated violence through organized events.

First, there would be a very stout enemy that can be dealt a lot of damage but cannot really hit hard itself. That being said, it produces 2x as much blood when damage as per normal, and this gives stronger enemies further down in this comment the reason to basically farm these guys for blood. Perhaps they have a regeneration feature in the wake of any real stopping power.

There could be an enemy that is a medium to small sized, hovering orb that is made of bone and has runic carvings on it that manipulate blood and it’s damage and resistance levels could be increased directly by: the damage dealt to the player while it is spawned and active; or perhaps only when it is responsible for the damage dealt to something with blood; or (and the one I prefer the most) damage that has been dealt to an ally. Subsequently when its ally chooses to give its own blood to the orb, it is very efficient and 100% of the blood arrives at the orb. Conversely, when an ally is damaged or killed, the Orb can claim its blood, but losses 30% to 50% of the blood. It uses this blood to shape shift into various weapons and shields centered upon itself. Furthermore, when the orb stores enough blood to upgrade its health and/or damage, it also upgrades the blood shield or weapon it wields. These Blood Orbs are the objects that people are ritualistically sacrificing blood to empowering. Perhaps the first enemy could even scarifies its own blood to empower the Blood Orb nearest itself when a Blood Orb is present. Perhaps sacrificing a certain amount of HP to a specific Blood Orb allows this it to gain a rouglike effect that is given to it by one of these mysterious entities that this level worships.

I think a good advanced enemy could be one that sucks the blood from the player, but more importantly sucks the blood from its Allies while they’re alive without consent. It can heal and become empowered depending on the amount of blood (or damage) it has caused.
Furthermore, I think this enemy should sacrifice any of its Allies (excluding any Blood Orbs) that are reduced below 15% of their HP. Subsequently after this feature is used, this enemy spawns a Blood Orb to fight for it, although perhaps it would start with less health or something. As such, this enemy would be holding unempowered Blood Stones in its hand. Nevertheless, this enemy could perhaps choose to become mad when below a certain % of its own health, a bad begin sacrificing its Allies more willingly, becoming a much more efficient Blood Orb spawner. Perhaps the more health a creature has when scarified dictates how many Blood Orbs are spawned. Regardless, I’d imagine these guys would be the real problems

I think another possibility enemy could be like a sentient, black, gnarled tree that is the main power hitter of the zone. When the Blood Tree hits the player, it uses its vines and uproots its roots to deal damage. When it deals damage it saps blood from target and stores it as a blood bank. Additionally when it’s roots or vines hit the player they could cause a random status effect on the player. I think the tree itself would have pretty low defense but has the ability to deal an excessive amount of damage in a short time and can freely choose to give a certain amount of iota blood to a select ally when it is favorable too. I don’t know if it would be possible, but if when a Blood Tree dies, other Allies can still use the blood stored within its corpse. Perhaps when one dies it transitions to the background. When more die you change the background to include a pile of blood trees with an eventual limit. A blood tree disappears when it’s blood is used up. I think this would be badass but also enable an glass cannon support type enemy which I think would be neat. I also think that a blood bank type enemy would synergies and be very dealt combined with the Blood Orb Spawning enemy

An alternative enemy type to the first enemy I mention in this comment, there could be a mass of little cute blood gremlin creatures. If the more spawned on screen could pair up into mob of enemies, gaining more health and power with each new addition, this would make for another enemy perfect for its Allies to sacrifice or draw blood from. I see a particular deadly combo between this enemy and the Blood Orb Spawner enemy previously mentioned.

Just some thoughts but I hope they can be useful to make this game even cooler!!

Hex Deck? The Dexorcist? Whatever name you go with, it's gonna be a sick game!

3 "track" ideas
-bloody grove. A large forest that particles fly around, it all has a creepy overlay, and maybe some eyes watching from the player in the distance.
-shrapnel shards. An area with large crystals and old bombs, maybe if the player clicks one it can blow up an enemy or the player with it, letting the environment play a part in combat.
-abnormal abyss. The bottom of the ocean with little fish gliding past, bubbles that the player can click to keep them from loosing oxygen, maybe once they fall off the map they can end up in shrapnel shards or abnormal abyss.

sorry if this sounds like chatGPT, I just write like that.

Enemies for the volcanic Area could maybe be some sort of a Flame Ghost or a lava golem or just a fire wizard.
The Cult loves Hot things and Violence there comes instand "Ghost Rider" from the Marvel Comics in my mind. With his flaming head etc. Maybe a enemy which is inspired by him would fit well. Or Motorcycle gangs inspired in general combined with fire, lava etc.

Or if you want to keep if funny make a Oven Enemy xD

Loving the progress you've made so far :D It's a great showcase of your skills going from one style of game to a whole different style (which you are being very original with) and still slaying :D
- Keep up the awesomeness bro!

I reallly liked how there was no mouth for the caster enemy, you should definitely aply that to the other two aswell :) Maybe you can also feature an island in the sky made out of clouds (take inspiration from Terraria)

themes suggestions:
desert level: sand cult
candy land level: sweet cult
clouds level: sky cult
underwater level: water/fish cult
cave level: gems cult

I suggest adding a desert cult and a snow cult in the future. The first one would worship the Sun and camels and the second one would worship cold emotionless logic.

Since you said the game wont take itself too seriously, it would be fun to see a fire cult enemy that just throws hot things, like a hot potato or a hot pan.

Something like "Rogue Deck: Stop the Cults!" as a title could be cool

Evil cult sounds super fun! Love the art style for the game so far too! Looking forward to seeing more of it!

I like the new enemies that you added to the game. They fit your 2D art style really well. You are doing much better job in game development then I do with my own games so congrats to you and keep up the great work.

I like the new environments and enemy designs. As for a new theme, I've always wanted to see more games explore a Candyland theme.

add a void dimension with a cult that tries to be scary with costumes but is still cute

Cult of steam
Gunner - slow but strong attacker who charges to the front as his gun is very short range
Mech-legs - slow but high defence, resist fire and water but weak to electricity
X-bolter - his goggles give him high accuracy from a distance, which he likes to keep and flees when u get too close(some sort of long range/charge/stun...etc needed to hit him)

I really like the sprites for the puff dream cult. Feels a bit odd calling them a cult though, they just look like a fun group of creatures.
