‘Wild Husky’ the ultimate sledge project.

During my second year of study at Teesside University; a team of students including myself were tasked with designing ‘the ultimate sledge’ for the higher end snow sports market, and hypothetical company ‘Wild Husky’.

Along with the general roles of ideation and product development earlier on in the project; my specific role within the group was to alter the designs to and develop the technical elements to produce a viable product proposal.
I had also been given the challenge to develop an innovative, new and safe way to both steer and brake the sledge, eventually coming up with a ‘reverse half plough’ mechanism within built safety features.
In addition to this, I was also tasked with CAD modelling, rendering and eventually animating the finalised design.
