When the black wolf appeared, goose bumps ran down my spine. This is an amazing moment!
Now even more I want to see this movie.

This has to be the most beautiful movie Harrison has ever done. No shame in admitting tears were uncontrollable towards the end being graced with the presence of dogs all my life it is easy to understand how emotionally attached to them i really am,

Loved this scene, Buck showed care and compassion for his fellow teammates. Shared his food, helped with water and kept them warm and strong. Then The Black Wolf appearances gave Buck strength, confidence, courage and cleverness to survive.

This was such an underrated movie. I saw it in the theater on my way home from the last job I did before COVID started (I'm a photographer, and travel far for youth sports tournaments)

this was actually a smart decision by buck, running left would have been so much harder cause they would have been trying to outrun an avalanche, instead he went inside the mountain, that way they can get some cover while trying to get out of the avalanche's path. it gave them more time to get out of the path.

Depending on the size of the avalanche, you have very little hope of outrunning it. It's like trying to outrun a tsunami wave. Your best chance is to try to get out of its path.

The call of the wild was the only book I ever finished not because I can’t read but because it was the only fascinating book for me

I've LOVED This story as far back as a KID!
I read the story in grade school (early-mid 60s) and saw the 1935 black and white version.
This story NEVER GETS OLD!

This was the best scene in the whole movie in my opinion. I love the music with the scene like it’s fun/action packed and especially at the end is like pure joy like you’re almost there and you made it to your destination. This movie is actually my #1 favorite out of all top 10. I’m dead serious. Never would have thought a dog movie would even. A lot of people would say it doesn’t match the book. To me, it doesn’t have to be. They have to change up the narrative a little bit to impress people. And plus it’s a dog novel so I would think they would keep it less violent than what I’ve heard what the book is more about. Especially when people said Buck kills Spitz in the book and he doesn’t in the movie. So their intentions was to make it safe for kids to watch the movie. Even though Hal kills Thornton and Buck kills Hal at the end. Just small or brief. But I just love this movie.

While some people complain about the dog being CGI, i think it looks pretty good and helps portray more facial emotion in the dog. Like right here 0:37 you can see the determination in Buck’s eyes.

Leader wise, this dog nailed it completely.
But man, I want that wolf's confidence in life. Totally calm even in the time of avalanche 🤘

I like Huskies and I like Snow and Winter and it's always awesome to see Characters outrunning an Avalanche.

Love this movie, although it's one of the saddest I've seen. I absolutely bawled when the pups died and it made it difficult to watch it all the way through. Although it's worth the watch, just know it's very heartbreaking at times.
