Fever Benefits for Autism in a Food

preview_player
Показать описание
Dramatic improvements in autistic children when they get a fever suggests that the disease may be reversible if one can replicate the phenomenon in other ways.

Thanks for watching. I hope you’ll join in the evidence-based nutrition revolution!

I have noticed that in my son last weekend. He is 8 years old and his fever was around 38C. He was a lot more communicative, like someone lifted the invisible barrier. Funny that I see a video about that today.

I concur. My boy was almost non verbal had a bad fever at about 5 years old. He became very communicative and quite 'normal' for the two days he had the fever.

Wow, simply incredible. It's awesome to see that studies like this are getting funded by people. This is encouraging and gives me hope that the future is not completely lost to big business. Can't wait to see the next part - keep 'em coming Dr. Greger!

I have M.E. - I've often noted that I actually feel 'better' when I have a regular illness like mild flu. I put it down to M.E. currently looking like an auto-immune disease. Give my immune system a real job to do for a while. There are suggestions somewhere or other that autism is an auto-immune disease too.

Hi! Can't wait for the rest of these episodes!
TOPIC SUGGESTION: Eating for liver health (specifically NAFLD - non alchoholic fatty liver disease). If the liver is compromised, how to eat? Low fat is a must, but what sweeteners are there that will not cause fat buildup in the liver? Gluten free? And how to contribute to adequate bile production? Is it possible to reverse NAFLD even when the cause of it is not lifestyle related? Is it even established that NAFLD is lifestyle related?
