The pain of recovery is why I wont do it! And who knows if I will even recover or possibly have it come back. I just continue to get banded to lift it up above the pectin line hoping the pain will get better each time. It sucks to be this miserable. Dear Doctor,

I recently underwent laser surgery to remove grade 3 hemorrhoids on March 15th. It has been three days since the procedure, and I am experiencing significant discomfort, particularly during bowel movements. Even though I am using stool softeners and my stool is soft, the pressure and straining are extremely painful. The swelling in the area has made it feel very tight, and I am experiencing bleeding due to the strain.

The pain is unbearable, and I am worried about potential complications. There is also a lump and swelling inside the area where the grade 3 hemorrhoid was removed. Is this normal, or should I seek medical assistance?
