I saved myself from suffocation and death!!! I was eating a donut while I was walking, but then a big piece of donut went into my trachea. I couldn't breathe, call for help or ask for help and there was no one around. I realized that I was about to die! It was very unnerving and scary. Then I braced myself by jumping belly and chest first onto a nearby bike rack. This caused the diaphragm to collapse and the lungs to partially deflate. The piece came off and flew to the ground and I could breathe again! I had to go to the doctor and then to the hospital where I had a CT scan with contrast material. Some hairline fractures on the sternum bones, but nothing more serious. I'm glad I didn't die that day (April 30, 2023). Thank you God!

I almost died because of chocking when I was a kid. I remember that I started to drink a lot of water, cough and my mom also helped me a bit. Luckily it ended up all fine

I had to have my esophagus stretched. I was getting food stuck in my upper chest area. Its the easiest procedure. I had it done at the same tine as colonoscopy. Everyone needs a colonoscopy. It will save many lives!!

this happened to me today, i was trying to swallow an gummy which was about 2 - 3 centimeters wide and tall, i didnt chew (because i usually swallow things without chewing and thought it was be a piece of cake) and I had a tooth filling so i avoided chewing to test myself, then, the gummy did not pass through and I ended up choking while running around and alarming my parents, but I couldnt speak, so I tried to drink water, but failed, then my dad came and starting hitting my back and telling me to put my finger up my throat to push it out, then my dad successfully pushed it out, and that was the last time I ever swallowed a gummy the size of an eyeball without chewing
