Bought a 2024 SEL R Line. Changed the steering to sport in the custom mode. It helps a lot. If you use the shifter sport mode, it also changes the gearing.

I have 2023 Tiguan R line black fwd my mpg is at around 32 to 35 only thing I wish it had more HP but it does ride pretty good on the highway

The steering on my 24 Tiguan feels very good and my opinion is the opposite Kinda weird, but I always keep it in sport mode. The torque is good, but there is some pretty bad turbo lag IMO. It feels faster than what it says on paper.

I have one, and whilst its built very solid, and looks way more sporty/sleek than its competitors, I just find it a bit boring to drive. Reliable, solid, but boring.

Its an old model. In Europe there is a new generation which is produced since 2024. There is no sense in buying this model
