They should actually hire her at the TSA as she demonstrated how incompetent that agency really is at protecting us. Meanwhile, the 90 year old person in a wheelchair, and with an artificial hip, adult diapers, and a pacemaker gets a shakedown as if they were on America’s Most Wanted list. The sneaking on board isn’t cool but it revealed glaring incompetence.

So, all this happens but my belt and non-smart watch are a bigger security risk for you all and has to be rescanned every time. Got it.

You do realise that when your viewers read new information their needs to be new information.? I appreciate that’s not the way it works now.

This doesn't make sense. . ...A Russian woman with US legal resident status asks for asylum in France. Possible former KGB agent???

Will the TSA agent that checked her in without asking for a valid ticket be fired? How about the Delta gate agent?

There’s something to the perception that women of a certain age tend to feel as if they’re invisible.

No one is this lucky, she has skills. Spy or criminal.

The flight attendants were her last hurdle and the flight attendants failed. Checking the LAVs before pushback is flight attendant 101. Unbelievable

It's definitely bad form when the TSA lets you through the checkpoint. Delta Airlines is supposed to monitor the boarding gate door, who gets on, and whether seats are open or not. Flight Attendants should have monitored the restrooms better than they did. This was bad all around.

Years ago, I met a Danish airline boarding agent & she said that stowaways were a constant problem. If the stowaway made it to another country, the airline was financially responsible for the stowaway's room and board, security cost and any other expenses, and the return flight. This stowaway could cost DELTA a lot of $$$ if she is unwilling to return voluntarily. I think DELTA might have to send a private jet with a security team to get her out of France and back to the USA.

Holidays are the worst to work. It’s so busy, short staff, constant foot traffic and questions. I feel bad for all the employees involved it’s an honest mistake that should have never happen a now they gotta deal with a full investigation.

The thing today: flight attendants know who’s sitting where, which seat is open. It’s all on their devices. This lady just knew what she was doing and probably didn’t lock the bathroom so no one knows it’s occupied especially if she snuck in without the attendants noticing. (Boarding is the busiest and least favorite phrase of flight)

After this incident I’m sure all airlines will now have to check the bathrooms before take off.

Allegedly? Let's see, was seen at JFK, on airplane and arrested a CDG. Had no travel documents and from Russia... That checks all the boxes to make alleged not needed..
Now how this happened is all I want to know, could care less about who this person is, that is for the courts to deal with. I fly, expect Delta and the TSA to do their job instead of harassing customers, not having staff available to even fly the plane (happened to me in Atlanta this August), lying about full overhead bins (so they can check your luggage, I guess to see if there is anything worth stealing) and re-assign seats of folks who paid for the one they were double booked into and what is with comfort seating? Rest torture seating? Flying bus...

I've had Kleenex in my jogging pants pockets and was patted down. Ever since this, I have tried to be extra careful. And this lady's over here playing hopscotch with the bathrooms. This is fascinatingly bizarre.

As a child I almost sowed away on a flight trip to Hawaii.

My father and I went to the airport to see some friends off on a trip to Hawaii and I wanted to see what the inside of the plane look like. The lady boarding passengers said I could go on without a ticket to look, but needed to come back before seating.

Then, while inside, a stewardess came over and told me to take a seat and buckle up as the airplane began taxing away.

In the mean time my father watched with unbelief from inside as the airport began taxing away. Needless to say he went and told them "My son is on board" to which they said "He will have a good trip" to which he replied "No, he is not supposed to be going, he as just saying good bye and looking inside the airplane".

In the plane our friends and I also began telling them a mistake was happening. They turned the plane around and let me get off.

Could have had a free trip, because the people checking tickets had completely missed it. Of course, at 8 years old, I'm not sure I was up to a sudden unexpected trip away from home.

This really restores my faith in airport security! Post 9/11 I can still remember going through a TSA checkpoint and seeing a National guardsman holding an assault rifle with a grenade launcher!

TSA strip searching a toddler for a WMD that turned out to be a dirty diaper did not see her walk through. Thank you TSA and Delta for your vigilance.
