It’s the fact that he said the employee followed procedures 😂😂😂

I think the gates need the most security.

How did Delta follow policy when the person didn't have a ticket and didn't have a boarding pass? You are kidding right.

There's no amount of security for incompetence 🤷‍♂️

It’s a delta issue, they didn’t check the person’s ticket at the gate before letting him board. He went through security, he WAS screened, so this isn’t a security risk, just a business risk, it’s delta’s job at the gate to check the passengers tickets, and he just ran through that checkpoint, why is the TSA responsible for delta’s failures.

Staying home is always an option. It’s extremely liberating.

That stowaway probably came in on another flight where they already went through TSA.. Now they're at the gates/airside to do what ever. Not TSA fault.

Security theater makes ya feel better.

You need to show your boarding pass in order to go through screening. So, no, this person was NOT properly screened.

This is exactly why we can't have nice things 😕.

Why not just have a 2nd, a 3rd, and a 4th checkpoint? You can never be too safe!

I was ticketed at IST on November 27th and was checked every 5 feet until boarding with proper boarding it takes 2-3 hours for a secured boarding! 😊

Of course! One person (or two rather) has to ruin it for everyone -.-

I don't think these folks do it to actually accomplish their task, but to make airport security even more of a nightmare to get through.

Remember the shoe bomber? How about the underwear *Pepperidge farm remembers*

You litterly have to go through 3 to 4 TSA style screenings in the Philippines 1st time entering the building 2nd time after you check in 3rd time at the gate and if they are so inclined the 4th time re screening everyone at the gate again time to adopt some of these practices America
