New details have emerged into how a Russian national was able to board a delta flight last week from New York to Paris without a ticket.
TSA says the stowaway passed through security at JFK by using a lane reserved for flight crews.
A spokesperson says the 57-year-old bypassed an airport employee checking work IDs then jumped in the standard TSA screening line.
This allowed her to avoid stations where her ID and boarding pass would have been checked by TSA agents.
Video has also emerged of the moment a Delta flight attendant questioned the woman during the flight from New York to Paris.
This footage, taken by a passenger on November 26, 2024, shows her asking the stowaway about her boarding pass, which had a different name on it. The stowaway said it belonged to her friend.
A different passenger video captured the flight the stowaway was put on Saturday to return to the U.S. On that flight, the stowaway caused a disturbance and had to be removed from the plane.
Delta again attempted to fly the stowaway back to New York on Tuesday but decided to send her with a French escort on a different flight scheduled for Wednesday.
