Complete answer: Get a clean dry test tube and add 2 cm3 of Benedict's solution to the test tube and also add 2 cm3 of the drink. Then get a thermostatically controlled waterbath. Set temperature at 80 degrees Celsius and leave the test tube in the waterbath for 3 minutes. If colour changed to green, yellow, orange or red then reducing sugars are present if it remained blue then no reducing sugars are present. For safety use tongues to hold the testube and wear labcoat. (By the way I got a 9 in OL Biology and now studying for AS exams)
