Worth adding that Ae using absolute project paths (not relative). So if you rename or move any folders in the path, the links will break. Also, if you have a missing bunch of files in the project, then using the method here will also relink other missing files found in that folder.

I have folders within folders within folders and a ton of PNGs that are missing while trying to edit my game animation reel. This method only updates the files in that one folder. Is there any way to relink a root *folder* so that I'm not relinking about 40 folders worth of PNGs every time I lose linkages?

Yes, it is easy but my video continues to be offline. I just right clicked to convert to after effects project and my mxf continues to be offline. AE tells me that is a wrong format. Mxf is ok. Any other tips to fix this.
