I can recall when I first ate this salad at a friend's birthday cookout 15 years ago and they have since passed on, Wow, of course I had to have the recipe and it's been a wonderful addition and everyone loves it as much as I. I recommend it highly. But if serving later, don't add the liquid until serving .

This recipe is amazing! I don't include butter, halve the oil quantity and add honey instead of sugar. it's such a great idea. Love it!

Wow! I have seen recipes without all that butter. I toasted the noodles in the oven before and it is fine without butter. I wouldn't add that much sugar either
