Idaho investigators continue to search for answers in quadruple stabbing | Rush Hour

Investigators in Idaho continued to investigate the mysterious stabbing deaths of four students Thursday, more than a week after they were found dead in an off-campus home. Officials asked for tips Wednesday while dispelling several rumors in the case that has left the community uneasy and has fired up internet sleuths working to solve the crime.

So far no arrests have been made in connection with the deaths of Ethan Chapin, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Kaylee Goncalves. The students were killed on Nov. 13 off campus at a house near the school, police have said.

I'm following this story all the way from Ireland. Our media is barely covering this story. For me it's compelling. No suspect, no motive, no weapon... Those poor students and their families. What a tragedy! In terms of solving this case, this is my 2 cents worth. The killer is 100% known to them, is probably their age 19-22, male, knows the layout of their house and was either invited in, had been there in the past or lay in wait inside the house for them to come back.

The fact that the killer is walking freely most likely keeping up with all of these news articles/videos is so eerie to think about.. they could be walking amongst so many other students & peers and nobody even has a clue. praying this case gets solved soon & that nobody else gets hurt at the hands of this individual.

Of course there's tons going on that they cannot talk about. The fact that the two other roommates called people over before calling the police is completely sus and weird. You can't mistake a stabbing victim for someone who is passed out.

I wish they would clear up why the student 's called the friends over? Is this factual.I would have thought if I found a door unlocked and a room mate wasn't answering and was worried I would go to the other room mates to see if they could help unless that is what they. did. If they checked on all the room mates and the doors were locked? Then wouldn't you call 911 . This is the only thing that doesn't make sense to me.

Damn this happened right before thanksgiving. I feel for the family. They were excited to see them and spend time on thanksgiving. Now they gotta celebrate it without their daughters/son but they will always be in your hearts. RIP.

The reporter in this video jumps to the conclusion that just because the local and State police haven't conveyed any information on a possible suspect or motive that they don't have information on these things. The police clearly are demonstrating their intent to bring whomever is responsible to justice - or to see that the ultimate outcome is justice for the individuals who have lost their lives and their families and friends. Nothing is gained by them prematurely bringing information forward that may jeopardize their ability to meet their ultimate objective. Many in the media are so short-sighted and out of control on this.

It makes no sense, all these agencies helping including the FBI and still nothing? That is Crazy how somebody can go into a house where 6 people are sleeping and stabbed 4 of them to death with the dog in the house And slip out and nobody knows nothing. Stabbing four people in a strange house. This wasn't the first time he did this.

There was a stabbing murder in Marion County Oregon in September 2021. The man was killed; his wife was stabbed 19 times.
