Hello everyone and welcome to my channel and in this video today we will see what to do if you can't make or receive calls in your iPhone

If you can't make or receive calls from your iPhone then the first thing what you need to do is you need to check the cellular signal strength. Sometimes if you are inside the closed room then you may not get the signal. So, go out of the room and check if you get the signal. Now the other thing what you can do is open "Control center", enable airplane mode and again disable airplane mode and check if you get the signal. Now after that what you can do is remove the SIM card from the iPhone and then reinsert it again to check if you can make or receive calls again. Then the other thing what you will do is go to "Settings". Go to "General". Go to "Reset". Select "Reset Network settings". Now enter the passcode and then reset the network settings and check if you are able to make or receive calls again. Now if none of these methods work try your SIM card in another phone and check if the SIM card is working or not. If the SIM card does not work in another phone also then your SIM card is corrupted and then you have to replace it with a New SIM card.

Have tried everything, Sim in different phone, new sim, the only thing that makes it work temporarily is turning airplane mode on and off. Works directly after but problem is the same later. Phone is also relatively new, about 6 months. what does it mean when the airplane mode fixes the problem??

I remember when TMobile made Sprint customers switch out their SIM cards, IOS 15 was out and the TMobile employee told me to do the next IOS update, so that the phone would be synchronized to TMobile from Sprint!! From what I understood, the IOS 16 update would automatically unlock my IPhone from Sprint/TMobile and that I could use any other carrier’s SIM card. I tested an AT&T SIM card after the IOS 16 update, and yes, it was unlocked!!

if this didn’t fix your issue then most likely your simcard is cloned, which means your accounts linked to your phone number are compromised. I suggest quickly buying a new sim card!
