I think this is such bullshit. Lots of people have an extremely hard losing weight, but not maintaining it. To maintain you have to simply get on a healthy eating program, know how many calories your body does for maintenance and stick to it. Your hunger will increase, but it's a lot easier to have a little hunger but fill your body with nutrition, then to starve yourself to keep losing weight. Hunger is normal, but someone trying to get weight off for years and can't start gaining weight die to stress levels, low self esteem and emotional eating. Maintenance is completely do able . Adding some intermittent fasting ( 12 to 16 hours) will help a lot with maintenance.
