What Everyone Gets Wrong About Malcolm Gladwell's Outliers

So glad I finally got around to making this video. Malcolm Gladwell's Outliers is one of my favourite books, and is one that I've been going back to repeatedly since I first read it a few years ago. However, I've noticed a prominent misconception that most people take away from the books, and I wanted to make a video sharing my thoughts on it!

What Gladwell gets wrong is focusing on the people who got the advantage and made it instead of those who didn't have the advantage and made it anyway. The 10K hours rule is BS from the get got, you can't compare for instance 100 hours of fully focused work with the best coach in the world + elite teammates VS 100 hours of alone practice and not knowing the first thing about the activity.

I don't like Malcom G. writing in general, and that's why so many other books improved on his works.

Do a review of a book that is actually USEFUL, he is one: Be Obsessed or be Average (Grant Cardone)

Dope video cool guy. I totally agree. You know people have been conditioned to over simplify everything, smh.
Outliers is about the "failures" of society just as much as it is about societies most brightest and "successful." Provides proper context to how both arrive at their particular slot in life. Like the story of Chris Langan for instance.
