Tuskys a big name, had a good reputation in Kisii especially back to school hype was so nice. Its aesthetics(Green, White and Yellow colours), logo and general supermarket organization was satisfying. I miss PAYING LESS GETTING MORE EVERYDAY.

When local sellers pulled their “mzungu” prices on me, i started shopping in Nakumatt and later Tuskys
Miss both of them.
But as usual in Kenya, greed and corruption destroys so many things

Myself I remember when I was a boy in Nakuru we used to shop at his shop in Nakuru town we used to know his shop as "kwa Joram" The shop graduated to a small supermarket known as Magic Mini Supermarket this is where I used to see Yusuf Mugweru Kamau for Stephen Mukuha I used to see him at the shop kwa Joram he used to call me 'WERII" when it was changed to Tusker Mattresses at ALJABRY HOUSE it grew countrywide and in early 2004 it changed the name and to its coming down

This is why im not a huge fan of Family run businesses, Alot of family drama and conflicts are brought to the work place. If you ever build a company dont involve your kids in it. When you die let your stake in the company be cashed out and the money be distributed to your children. And the business should continue running in the hands of other professionals and not your kids.
