Piggy used to be the BIGGEST Game on Roblox for months but now 3 years later it's nowhere close.. is Roblox Piggy dead?

What is Roblox? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 13 to 18 year olds, but it is open to people of all ages. There is no cost for this first plot of virtual land. By participating and by building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn specialty badges as well as ROBLOX dollars (“Robux”). In turn, they can shop the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components, and working mechanisms.

Even after Piggy fell off, I will always be grateful to Minitoon for letting the story end and for not extending it for the sake of fame. Also, unlike many games nowadays, it wasn't a cash grab. It just had one game pass, after all, and he was also incredibly friendly and engaged in the community. Probably one of the nicest and best developers for those reasons.

Brings me back. This is where i met a lot of my friends. I remember doing an all nighter to wait for the new chapter to drop. I *used to* have every single skin available, and i consodered myself a pro. Man... sadly those days are behind me

When I heard that there was going to be no more chapters it hit me hard like a truck. I spend days playing it and almost crying when zizzy was left like bunny. Every once and a while I watch old videos of people reacting to the new chapters for the old memories.

I feel like minitoon wanted the game to die, it kept getting repetitive and honestly I agree even though I love piggy hood things come to an end, I think the game should end but the story continue

Piggy was the reason I played Roblox again since I lost two of my accounts. I heard about this game called “Piggy”, and I made an account. I started playing in 2020 in the pandemic but I quit Piggy when it reached Book 2 since I couldn’t beat the first three chapters. This was the time I lost another account, but that account was mainly for Piggy and I keep remembering. I tried to replay the entire Piggy story in 2021-2022 on my channel, and still am but not quite how much I used to do it. Piggy was literally the head start of my Roblox playing in the pandemic. I had a lot of fun and it’s just sad to see the Piggy game ending, but it don’t last forever. Sure, we will have Intercity but I don’t really care about that as it isn’t like Piggy anymore. The thing is, the thing that kept people going was the hype about the new chapters and lore etc. Once book 2 chapter 12 came out and the Hidden Ending was found there was nothing left to do in the game. If Minitoon continued to work on it, it'd still be alive. It didnt really die though.

I'm absolutely obsessed with this game. I still play it a lot. It's my favorite. I see why some people could have quit after Book 2 was released. But at the same time, I don't. The story of each chapter was definitely worth the wait, the characters were so much more fleshed out, and the amount of mysteries that STILL remain to this day is amazing.

as a professional piggy speedrunner, i wholeheartedly agree yet i think its mainly just because the original release blew up everywhere and once you got to book 2 the people that only came when it first blew up had long gone and maybe checked out a new chapter once in a while but the people who actually cared about piggy stayed.

the release date of book 1 chapter 12 was probably one of the best days of my life, because it was my birthday, and i was (and still am) loving piggy and it was overall just amazing.

Just because the game has fallen in overall player count doesn't mean that it has "fallen off." The players that still do play it are dedicated to the game, and there are 100s of fan art posted to Twitter every week. Just because it looks like the community has fallen in player, doesn't mean it has fallen. The peek was 500k because it was in the limelight at the time after the award it received
