As a Panther's fan that 2015 season still blows me away

I’ll never forget that 15-1 season I was so blown away how good CP played that season but sadly we probably won’t see it again

Being a Lsu and Saints fan I’ve respectfully hated this man for a long time, but to see him from his college days to now makes me kinda sad because it just shows how time is going by.

Damn shame his career fell apart the way it did. Remember this guy growing up and I was mesmerized by his abilities on the Panthers.

That’s why QBs like tom and drew lasted so long, they realized as there bodies got older, it was way more important to focus on injury prevention and recovery. I feel like cam was just so used to being the best athlete on the field, then his body caught up with him. Father Time remains undefeated.

As a Panther fan, I will always love him and want him back, no matter the record. This man was the face of our franchise for years. He was one of the most polarizing players I’ve ever witnessed, and I’m just glad I get to say he played for my team

His career resembled that of a hard running RB who peaked early and was worn down by the time he hit 30. If he could have changed his game and became more of a pocket passer, I think he could have played well into his 30s. Fun and dynamic to watch on the field.

I remember the first football game I ever watched, it was the 2010 iron bowl, me and my dad are die hard auburn fan my my step grandfather is a die hard Alabama fan. As a 7 year old watching cam Newton play in the second half was just amazing to me. I'm not a huge sports guy anymore but I could never deny the difference watching him play made in so many young lives including mine.

As a Panthers fan I think we should have let him run college style plays. That's where he shined. When he was on top he was something to behold. He brought a energy that no QB I've ever seen brought to a team and fan base.

As a Saints fan, for the longest time not a single player consistently scared me in the Division, EXCEPT Cam and Julio Jones. But cam, I remember multiple times our defense could just do absolutely NOTHING to stop him. As annoying as he was being a division rival, he was one of the best. Shame he couldn’t get a second shot with the pats.

Man. I am a die hard Broncos fan, but even I have to say those injuries are tragic. He really was a talented QB, and he deserved better. (Not winning SB50 better, but better) :)

His 2015 season was one of my favorite NFL SEASONS ever!! Reminded me of the McGuire/ Sosa home run chase in the late 90's. I hope you're body heals Cam and you live a relatively normal life in terms of pain not limiting you. You've earned that.

Running style quarterbacks burn bright and fast. They never last.

I really miss the panthers and Seahawks rivalry. It was always a close game.

I used to hate him since he played the same division as my saints but I actually miss seeing him bring all that energy on the field

Cam was never the same after the injuries piled up.

Not to mention his infamous no dive for the fumble.

I will always have a soft spot in my heart for him. His first NFL season was the greatest show on earth.
