I thought it was weird fake Zelda appears both in her modern outfit and in her ancient robes, but it makes perfect sense - the Yiga Clan are impersonating current day Zelda, while Ganondorf remembers the Zelda he met in the ancient past and dresses her accordingly.

I love how she’s completely invulnerable when disguised as Zelda but the second she gets into her yiga outfit you can actually damage her

Funnily enough, while escorting a Korok near this area, I encountered the fake Zelda cowering due to the transport I was moving with the Korok. I love that the game lets Link recognize the trap in this case.
