Culture Shock: A Biblical Response to Today’s Most Divisive Issues
by Chip Ingram
Where do you stand on issues like: Truth, Sex, Abortion, the Environment, and the Church and Politics? More important, what does God say? If there ever was a time for Christians to understand and communicate God’s truth about controversial and polarizing issues, it is now.
More than ever before, believers must develop convictions based on research, reason, and Biblical truth. But it doesn’t stop there. It’s equally important that you’re able (and willing) to communicate these convictions with love and respect, reflecting God’s own heart.
This book will help you learn how to respond with love, even in the face of controversy. In the process, you’ll discover the power of bringing God’s Light to the core issues at the heart of society today.

This is very true. The church should have confronted the culture of 1960s head on and talked about the Garden of Eden, God creating Adam and Eve, about marriage, how Jesus reinforced marriage by referring back to Garden of Eden, apostle Paul’s letters to Corinthians and Ephesians about WHY sex is allowed only in marriage (1 Cor 6 is powerful), and about ultimate marriage between us and Jesus at the end time. The church is supposed to be countercultural to popular culture, NOT the popular culture being counter cultural to traditional values.
