One of the things I despise most about grifters like that guy is it's highly likely that he doesn't actually believe a word of what he says. He knows it's bullshit, but he doesn't care because it's all about the sales pitch tailored to get people to buy into whatever product or idea he's selling. He's a conniving predator who has no concern for the harm he causes so long as he can make money.
