Your analysis of the claim that "more and more Chinese are moving to Malaysia" is misleading. The tone seems to instill alarm among the Malay populace, particularly among more conservative and racist individuals. While it’s true that there has been an increase in Chinese tourists recently, there’s little evidence that many Chinese are planning long-term moves to Malaysia. For example, when the developer of Forest City in Johor Bahru offered heavily discounted units to buyers in China, very few took up the offer. In my interactions with many Chinese, both in China and Malaysia, as well as Chinese abroad, I've found that many come here out of curiosity, to send their kids to school, or to escape the cold winters in northern China.

Although Malaysian and southern Chinese cultures share similarities, there are inaccuracies in the assumptions about Chinese preferences. First, Chinese tourists from China often don’t rave about Malaysian food, except perhaps for those from Guangdong or Fujian provinces. Many are not adventurous when it comes to foreign cuisine. It’s common for Chinese travelers to bring their own food abroad, and many don’t enjoy dishes like bak kut teh, char kway teow, or anything with curry.

Second, the notion that Chinese are escaping pollution is an oversimplification. While cities like Beijing struggle with pollution is a past thing, many other Chinese cities are quite clean. Malaysia, too, faces issues like periodic haze and flooding in various areas.

Third, the idea that Chinese would seek healthcare in Malaysia is overstated. While Sunway Hospital is a reputable facility in Malaysia, there are leading-edge hospitals in China that many prefer. Any I suppose you have not visited any.

What’s often overlooked is that Chinese tourists appreciate the warm and friendly nature of Malaysians, including the Malay and indigenous communities, as well as their customs.

The Malaysian government must not give them citizenship nor permanent resident status. What now with the 1.2 million Chinese tourists who are now illegal immigrants here.

Our government is now run by malays orchestrated by political DAP chinese party. The malay government has less decisive power, and has to depend on the economic power of their counterparts. Political power itself just can't make the malays prosperous unless you are politicians.

If the Chinese wish to settle in Malaysia, then Country Garden Forest City in Johor Bahru would not be deserted. Most Chinese visit Malaysia for vacation and then take a trip to Singapore.

Many original malaysian chinese have migrated. Now we will have more chinese forming clusters in many big cities in Malaysia which we call CTFC. China Town Forest City, China Town Penang, China Town Petaling Street & now China Town Malacca. Its great to be replaced & balance the national rate 50% Chinese mostly from China & 50% Malays Muslims mostly from Indonesia. Indonesians look like malays too.
