AMD E cores are not like Intel's cut down lower IPC cores. AMD's E-cores only sacrifice a bit of clock speed and have half the cache. They are still Zen 5 and have multithreading.

I take this hands down over the G14.... this one has military specs, and 180 degree lid which super important to me! Has a total of 6 ports including Power and non flashy just like a military style laptop would be! Reports are it runs quiet as well. I will buy the maxed out version when on sale with 32 gb ram

Also the ASUS product page states this has a smooth glass touchpad.

I would choose the TUF A14 over the Zephyrus G14 because it looks like the A14's display is more stable and doesn't wobble as much as the G14's.

In India its just 60$ price difference between, Zephyrus G14(RTX 4060, Ryzen 9 Octa Core 8945HS, 16GB, 1TB) and TUF Gaming A14(RTX 4060, Ryzen AI 9 12 Core HX 370, 32 GB, 2 TB)... I really wanted G14 but it has only 16 gigs of ram. Whereas A14 comes with better CPU, STORAGE AND RAM. If 16gigs of ram is something which should not worry about in future. I'll go with G14

Kindly give your view, i am open to suggestions : )

Good to see other options. However, I think the extra $200 is worth it, if only for the OLED screen alone, although I wish the G14 had the extra M.2 slot. Thanks for sharing!

TBH, the G14 is the better buy all around, but I'd consider the A14 only because it is black by default; for some reason ASUS does not offer the G14 in Eclipse Gray in the US, and it is quite a shame

Crazy price for a 4060. I have seen 4070s for cheaper

Thx for the review....

And for a Strix G16 (2023) VS a G14 (2024) ?

The difference between this and G14 in my country is to small make me buy it just because this one has the new HX 370. Kind of a bad business decision. But the Ryzen 7 8845HS version of this new TUF 14 is a best buy. Amazing price.

Hii gizmo please make a video on the upcoming tuf a16 with ryzen ai 9 hx 370.

my only issue is that zephyrus comes with soldered 16 gigs of ram, which is perfectly fine for now, but newer games and editing software kinda hint at 32 gigs being the norm sooner rather than later, so it is just a dealbreaker for me

For $200 more... I think I'd go for the G14.
Is this one were $400 cheaper, I'd take it.

Great summary! However, I'm more interested in the new A16 model.

🤩🤩Finally somebody showing a new 2024 model and not an old and saying it is 2024 they don't see that old model has back hinges and new up-on-deck hinges which is best design a new model

Hm, the TUF looks great, but from what I heard, the RAM is soldered, so unfortunately I'll either have to wait for the next one or get the 16 inch model.

I mean If you a want a good gaming laptop the extra 200$ is worth for that G14. If it's more cheaper and not just 200$ of course A14 will be best buy.
