Bought a 2024 yesterday after seeing the worn out plastic on 2023 display models. Oled screen is phenomenal. Expensive when fully loaded but open box 2023 is great value for money at $800-900. 2024 is double that.

The 2024 4060 Model only comes with 16GB of RAM. If you want 32GB, you need to upgrade to the 4070 version for $400 more. Also, I don’t see the two m.2 slots on the 2023.

There's a rtx 4070, 120hz, 1tb, 16bg ram 2024 at best buy for $1, 599 on sale for like $1350 right now.
I had a 2021 g14 with only a FHD display. Finally broke it. So I think 2024 for almost the same price and nicer features is totally worth it. Knowing it will last at least a few more years
