Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 Dominates the Asus TUF A15

I am going to put these two laptops head to head with creator benchmarks and we are going to find out which laptop is right for you.

Since releasing my original run of head-to-head reviews with the Asus TUF A15 this has been the top requested head-to-head comparison coming out of the comment section.

Let’s dive right in and check out the build quality of these two laptops. The Asus Zephyrus G14 comes with a fully magnesium-aluminum alloy bottom cover and keyboard deck. Chassis. These ultra-light durable materials make for a very light laptop. Compared to the Asus TUF A15 it is a whole 2-pounds lighter

The Asus TUF A15 has an aluminum top cover but the rest of the build is covered by plastic. The plastic used is a sturdy thick plastic that does not have that hollow cheap sound to the touch like some of the cheaper gaming laptops I have come across, but compared to the G14 it is still a plastic build so the G14 really stands out with its magnesium alloy chassis.

Concerning the on-the-go capability of these two laptops the:
Asus Zephyrus G14 weighs in at 3.75 Lbs with a thickness of 0.78 inches
Whereas the Asus TUF A15 weighs in at 4.56 Lbs at a thickness of 0.98 inches

Concerning battery life the
The Asus Zephyrus G14 will get roughly 11 - 12 Hours Web browsing / 4 - 8 hours of Video Editing and Photography or Design work out of its 76 Wh battery. Whereas the Asus TUF A15 with its 90 Wh will get roughly 6 - 7 hours Web browsing / 3 - 5 hours while conducting Video Editing and Photography or Design work.

Man, that trackpad click test. I ended up returning my G14 cause the high pitch fans triggered my tinnitus. And I was not fan of the trackpad.

Is it normal for the trackpad to rattle like that? It clearly does the same thing in this video as my laptop so I'd assume yes but why? Doing double tap commands or such on the trackpad feel awful compared to a one that doesn't move at all as you might accidentally press it too hard and then trigger the rattle sound which spounds and feels bad

Hi which one would you recommend asus tuf gaming a15 (amd ryzen 7 7735HS+ rtx 4060 8GB) or asus rog zephyrus g14 (amd ryzen R7 6800HS+ RX 6700S 8GB).I'd go with the g14 for portability and design, but I'm still not sure. Tuf a15 just seems a bit too bulky and heavy for me as a student.

Just returend my 2022 G14 for a blade 14. The G14 feels so cheap for almost $1800. The screen is definitely the highlight, but the amd gpu doesn't compete with nvida.

If both the TUF A15 and Zephyrus provide the same specs ( Ryzen 9, 16GB RAM, RTX 3060 Card) and come at a price difference of ~$500,
Is it worth it to get an A15 for $1250 and save the 500 bucks instead of going for the Zephyrus at $1750 ?

Or would the Zephyrus be a better choice?

I want to game and use it casually for uni/business.
