Pregozhin comes across like some lovable old Grandad in that video.
As a carpenter of 25 years I can say that the bare bones of the luxury trench villa wouldn’t take long, all the shelves and beds etc. would be added later as the ‘need’ arises. I love it! My workshop went roughly the same way. I put it together 10 years ago but too this day I’m still adding stupid unnecessary stuff like pencil holders, small cupboards for smaller items and small fold down benches (I now have too many) made from stuff collected from dumpsters.

Just a word of advice to Ukraine drone operations. During WWII the Germans started using “netting” on windows to repel grenade attack. The solution countermeasure was put fishhooks on the grenades. Hook grabbing the net on non contact weapon types makes the weapon stick to the netting. Surprise 💥

Imagine private Conscriptovich, crawling forward in the silence of the night, when his phone connects to trench enemy wifi unleashing 2 months of notifications simultaneously.

The Gold standard in dugouts shown before winter started, Had a smokeless wood stove for cooking & heating (made in Ukraine by a loyalist!). It also had a smaller version running a sauna! ;) It had multiple layers of draught stopping curtains along the entrance, with a wet room for kicking off muddy wet boots & clothes! It looked very cosey! Wood lined walls kept the heat from the stoves inside! :) Luxury style dugouts like the one you show & the one I saw are rear line trenches (ie 2 to 3rd trench line back from the front! So on watch you are in the front trench! The last rear trench is the off-watch living quarters (habitation) lines! This is why Uke troops have good morale as they are kept happy, when off duty!

I am a Ukrainian. Do you know what blows my mind about Prigozhin? He always uses the contemporary Ukrainian toponyms instead of the Soviet or Imperial ones. Also, he refers to us as Ukrainians instead of derogatory hohols. Almost as if... he respects us as his enemy. That's very unusual on the Russian part.

6:45 In the trenches, if you're not on sentry duty, all you have is time. You're huddling in trenches, taking cover from shrapnel, Pavel is looking through a periscope for any human waves, you got nothing left to do but wait for him to cry out or for the next field feed, so you start to make stuff. Materials come from mortar, artillery and weapon crates, and the palettes they come on. Every well-equipped soldier in the field would probably have a sawblade on their Gerber, too, if not actual bush gear. Having a proper hammer or a screwdriver and fasteners might be the limiting factor, but even then I'm sure Battalion has a section with that stuff, just have to make a request for morale.

Hell, if you were a carpenter or a woodworker before the war, everyone in the company would probably want to swap shifts with you in exchange for you making their bivouac into an apartment.

Good to see our Baltics taking a unified stance.

I've seen videos of other "luxurious" trenches in Ukraine, so it's definitely not the only one.

I spent the day in Tallinn Estonia, it's a beautiful city and we hope to return some day. We went to the KGB museum, which was really cool and they let you touch things and sit in the office chairs of the KGB bosses. The first thing I did when I got there was I did some medieval archery and I was the champion for that day so that was pretty awesome. The food was amazing and so were the drinks. The people are very nice and the women are beautiful. Highly recommended if you're nearby like somewhere in Scandinavia. We went there from Finland in a boat. We actually liked Estonia a lot more than either Sweden or Finland.

BTW, the T-55 coming back into service is roughly analogous to the RAF reintroducing the Lancaster bomber.

Fabulous updates! Great videos Artur. I've seen many dug outs Warriors do, even with saunas, bathrooms, showers, kitchens, many beds etc., Warriors are so talented in so, so many ways. Love from Canada. Slava Ukraini! Heroyam Slava!

Hi. This is not the only comfortable dug out on the frontline. There are many, all with stoves, electricity and some with wifi. There is one that our guys made a sauna inside. Some are big with many beds. By the way Artur, thankyou for supporting us with your channel. It means a lot.
