Kevin is everyone's bestfriend in the office without them realizing it. When Roy gets violent in the bar, Kevin steps in front of Pam to fight him if he threatens her. When the Senator was emotionally abusing Oscar and Angela, Kevin told him off. When Dwight fired him, Kevin wasn't mad at Dwight for hurting his career, he was mad at Dwight because he thought it was a matter of friendship. Kevin is as loyal and true friend as anyone could ever hope for.

I love how at 1:12 Kevin comes rushing in to hold Pam. The look of concern on his face is simply priceless. I guess Pam and Kevin had become really close friends since the time they started having food together(just second breakfast, first lunch, second lunch and first dinner).

True story, last April 19th at around midnight I was in bed, watching this video when my wife came in and told me her water broke. Our son was born 14 hours later, almost a year ago.
