I think it would be a good idea for these tools that benefit from having a giant battery to have a system where you can clip the battery to your belt and run a short cord to power the tool. Hybrid cordless where you're isolated from extension cords running all over but also keeps the heavy weight of the battery out of the hands

I like the new stuff, but I have a few notes. The reason I didn't buy the new 15ah battery is because it's $380, and I could get five 6.0 batteries(30ah) for the same money, but also because it uses 18650 cells and not 21700 for some reason. It makes me wonder the power difference considering the 9.0 ah uses 21700 which have consistently shown a lot more power. Also, I think the first guy kind of avoided the question about thermal control, I don't believe dewalt batteries have a killswitch similar to makita when overheating. Also, in my experience, free floating handles are common on big demo hammers. Solid video though. Thanks for keeping us informed.

My toxic trait is thinking I need that concrete anchor system when literally the most intense construction I do is in my garage.

Hilti has had the “ undercut” anchor for over ten years. They also had several dustless systems including a coring system that recycled the water to be used again to lubricate the bits. I love dewalt but they very late in the game on this. I guess the patents must have ran out for hilti. Their systems are so similar it isn’t funny. Hilti’s undercut anchors had carbide teeth on the shield of the anchor that cut the swell in the bottom of the hole. They used a stop depth bit so the depth was spot on. They guaranteed the anchors were just as strong as if they were cast in place.

I don't know what to say.
#1 - I've drilled in thousands of 3/4" bolts while setting precast concrete panels. Attaching adjusting screw jacks to the panels once they were " stood up", never had a problem... even after the walls experienced high winds. I'll drill and install 20 anchors before that system puts in 3.
#2 - The Hilti 3000 avr breaker will kick the ____ out of that breaker.
#3 - Who in their right mind would want to use a short bushing bit for.... Let's just say... 5 hours out of 8 hours in a normal workday? 3 - 5 days in a week? 😅😅😅
Keep up the great videos Vince.

I like the lag bolts though expensive system for now. It took the DeWalt along time to get back up. I got all red now.

They need to make a special outfit. The contacts for power transmission to the tools would be some gloves which attach to a vest. The vest would hold a bunch of flat batteries. You could probably fit 50ahs in a vest with negligible weight when spread over the torso.

Man Dewalt is doing work, as always I suppose lol. I recently got a 5 peice Cordless set with two 4ah batteries 20v Brushless motors and holy shit are they great, I was able to cut concrete drain holes in my basement for flooding, and the drill/impact driver are just stupid powerful compaired to my last set from years ago (that was craftsman C3 20volt)y wife encouraged it because she says I have a drill or saw in my hand atleast once a day for stuff around the house amd I needed much more from my tools than i was getting, and she's right so with that I'd recommend their 20v Brushless motor line over any others I've used. Great equipiment
