My path is a collection of belief systems from my childhood. My mother practiced Santeria until she became a devote Catholic but she was the first person to teach me how to use an Ouija board, tarot, writing petitions and bottle magick. Then in my youth I studied Wicca which like you I believe was a great stepping stone but too stringent for me. I consider myself a solitary eclectic witch. I use elements of Santeria and hoodoo. I also feel a deep connection w the moon which is why I use the moon phases in my path working. I work w the archangel Michael and Hekate. I've been incorporating more elemental magick recently in my practices. I am fascinated w the dark arts and demonology just not ready to work with them yet.

It takes a lot to do everything “by the book” but the creative and personal aspect gets lost in that way. Because you asked... I'm a folk witch. I draw from folk magic (obviously), some elements I learned when starting with Wicca, other folk magic traditions I've learned from (Mexican folk magic, Santeria, Christian folk magic, Granny magic, Pow Wows, and Hoodoo, without stealing from them). Folklore and herbal lore, Kitchen witchery, hearth witchery, green witchery, elemental magic are aspects I draw from to further my understanding of my craft. I no longer identify with Wicca (ceremonial/ritual magic wasn't for me), but still consider myself loosely Pagan, following The Green Man Tradition (designed for Pagan Men's groups and Male Mystery circles). I've only just found you, and I'm impressed with what I'm hearing from you. I've been a practicing witch for thirty two years, and listening to you, I'm impressed with the wisdom you've achieved at such a young age. I honestly don't think I was as far along with my own understanding as you appear to be until I was in my late thirties/early forties. I can't wait to watch your other videos and hope to hear more from you in the future.

i am a journalist and a witch. I m from little country in Europe - Croatia. When I started my practise, 35 years ago, I was alone. This is catholic county, I was brought in catholic family, and back then there where no books, no nothing about witchcraft here. All that I had was my grand grand mother. She looked in coffee and cards. She taught me basic. After she died I was left alone. Practicing and searching for my self. So I know what you mean, what you talking about. Hi there!! I too grew up in a Christian background, but am currently transferring into thewiccan path now in my early twenties, yet am keeping it under tight wraps since the first time I tried to tell my mom she forced me to get rid of all things “devil like” — which was my pendulum & tarot cards, as well told me I had to “repent for my sins.” As much as I love her, it hurts that the ppl who love you most can also cause the most damage. Even though I’m still new, I know what path I want to take. So learning about your path kinda makes me feel a bit better on going my own way — and the daemon thing kinda scared me a bit, but it was also pretty interesting 😅

i appreciate your videos on the occult so much. just found your channel after watching your tips for beginning witches and i resonate so much with what you've said and advised and i found the video to feel really rooted in your authentic experiences and findings, as opposed to just a reiteration of read knowledge like some other youtubers' videos. Your marination within the depths of the occult and your personal path really come across in your videos and elevate the benefit we get from watching your videos. please keep making more, and thank you<3 i also really resonate with your intuitive navigation through the occult and how it has led you to explore and embrace different traditions, energies, realms. I personally started my spiritual journey through yoga, advaita vedanta, and then began exploring tantra. Now I am just beginning my explorations of witchcraft and a seemingly very different branch of spirituality. All along I am remaining open to following my intuition to explore what feels right, but I am also always constantly trying to perceive a framework of understanding that allows for seemingly opposing traditions to work together and each express uniquely from a universal truth. Each spiritual tradition/system has a piece of the puzzle and I don't believe that any invalidate another, but are rather different entryways to the hidden pathway within. Hi, I came across your videos when I was researching de Goddess Hecate and just really appreciate your openness on the occult. I have always been fascinated with angel magic, necromancy, and anything supernatural. I don't call myself a practitioner because my knowledge of the occult is scattered and broken between different branches of the subject such as Kabbalah symbolism in connection to angel magic, Wicca, Roman, Greek and Norse deities and mythology, the natural sources of power in nature, elemental energy, astrology, synchronization, numerology, divination and anything I can sink my teeth into in regards to the occult.
