I believe you because I’ve ordered things from Amazon before, and they sometimes send me more than I ordered or something much more expensive. When I report the issue and try to return the items, they always tell me to keep them. This has happened with items worth $5 as well as with items worth $300.

Adding those iPads back to stock to sell properly again would cost more than they’re worth and would just be a hassle to Amazon easier just to let you keep them and then make a note on who packed it if they’re tracking it
