The poison umbrella sounds exactly like the thing the KGB would do.

Franz Reichelt also has the dubious honor of being the first person known to have died on film, as he had also invited a camera crew to record the historic test, and footage of his death is actually widely available online..

I thought the last one was the strangest.
I mean if you did tests and all of it failed would you still do it? It’s like asking for death

Strange deaths I know..

#1 This guy literally laughed to death from this one moment during a british tv show.

#2 This guy in Russia had a really long beard. When there was a fire, he ran out until his beard caught something and he broke his neck.

So you're saying my irrational childhood fear of cactuses was justified?

I love this channel. The content is extremely interesting. I’ve watched all of the videos in the Strange Death series only to find none of them “strange” at all. Just stupid.

An interesting thing you can cover in your strange history stories is the lightning ball incidents reported over a wide array of incidents

Orbs of light floating into homes and exploding and whatnot. Even one incident where 3 of these floated towards and killed 3 crew members aboard a British naval vessel

If the channel is looking for Roman history I'd strongly recommend doing the Punic Wars with Carthage. Carthago delenda est.

There was a man in I think 1941/42 who was on a train. He was asleep in his carriage when the train suddenly came to a halt. He assumed that the train had stopped at the station so still dazed he opened the carriage door and plummeted to his death. The train didn't stop at the station, it stopped on a bridge.
