You have, without a doubt, one of the best channels on youtube. The ambient music in the background takes your videos from being great to even better!

Bro you gotta be kidding me. I just got hired yesterday by a big internet company (hosting servers, data centers, etc.) and I feel like I don't know as much as I should about how things work exactly in this industry.
And now you're dropping this vid.

How does the internet ACTUALLY work? and who keeps it running? In this video we'll take an interesting look at the internet. I've also noticed that at around 6:56, the footage of the girl turns green. I'm not sure what that's about but I hope you enjoy the video regardless!

There I am, backpack in one hand, my cellphone on other. Calmly shuffling through my music to find the most peaceful piano music on Spotify. I enter my pre calculus and sit down. Teacher goes around checking for homework while I go through YouTube and see a new video from cold fusion. Everything shuts as I open my hacked version of YouTube to play this video in the background. I slowly go to a flow state as every word he speaks soothes me even more. "Cheers guys, have a good one!" I wake up feeling enlightened. I want more, it's not enough, where do I go? I look through all his videos again just to make sure I haven't seen one but every time its a failure, I've seen it all. Then I look at the board and my teacher is so ahead I don't bother to even try. This feeling again, boy oh boy, this emptiness kills me every time then my head lights up. I go through my backpack that weighs less than a guitar and I look for the book. Dopamine rushes through every part of my brain as I grab the book called "New thinking" written by one of my favorite authors... Mr. Altraide a.k.a. Cold fusion. I open it up and am glad that I didn't forget to put it back after I read it. World war 2 as the title states and the technologies built makes me satisfied reading. Mr.Altraide I absolutely adore your book. The only reason my backpack is lighter than my guitar is because your book and a water bottle is the only thing in there. Thank you for letting me escape reality to absorb the lightest informations all backed up by the resources on the back. That's the only time I really travel back in time, I am in the most present and I hover in the future. As a 18 year old I've never finished a book and yours will be my first. Thank you.

FWIW, the core to Berners-Lee's "invention" of the web was HTML. HTML was an exceptionally simple "language" which allowed content to be displayed in the way the author intended. In addition, there was HTTP, which is a background protocol which allows clients (browsers) to communicate effectively with servers to serve up web content. Prior to the web, there were other preferred protocols (like gopher, IRC) which were insufficient to take advantage of the possibilities of the Internet.

To be sure, the Internet is comparable in magnitude to landing on the moon, if not more so. Perhaps comparable to the electrification of the world. It is an enormously powerful tool for the spreading of knowledge and other communication.

I was an alpha-tester for the ARPANET in 1969. I sent a message(e-mail) from my high school here in Vancouver to SFU a few miles away using a telex machine hooked up to a telephone using an acoustic modem. The Internet has come a long ways in 50 yrs!

Why have 164 people disliked this video! Please understand it takes so much to create just 30 seconds of a high quality video!

Creators need your appreciation to serve you free content not your childish whims.

That's a whole lot of flashing ColdFusion logo between stock videos, dude. I'm surprised you didn't notice it.

10:08, what even... I hadn't even noticed the audio quality change until he pointed it out, it is so insignificant, and cold fusion has probably the best audio recording software commercially available out there

When you put red borders around your thumbs people don't know if they watched the video or not.
Great channel btw.

I am paraphrasing a quote that i heard somewhere; leadership is not always something that people are asking for but showing them what they can get. ColdFusion does exactly that with the topics he covers. While a simple topic, I never googled this very basic info. Now I know it :)

Hey Dagogo, I'd love to see a video that explores the hypothetical series of events that would need to unfold in order to completely cut off a country (like the US for example) from the outside world. What would need to happen to cause something like this to happen? Is it even possible? I'd love to hear your take on it. Thanks bud! Love your content.
