What if instead you talk to your child and gain trust in each other and build bonds or take them places or have them do things or hang out with people so that way they don’t feel imprisoned by you Turing off the wifi and they start to dislike you as a parent and start to do sneaky things so they don’t get punished? or maybe just take your child out somewhere the only places i went this summer was my grand parents house we did nothing this summer even thought they said we’d go out more we barley did my phone is the only place i feel i’m actually going anywhere but if your child is always on their phone you may wanna ask them about it not take the phone or turn off the wifi taking it away and expecting an answer right away is not how you do it let your kids have time to let them warm up to you so you don’t make them feel judged
