I solo travelled to Vientiane in 2009 as a 23 year old novice female traveller. I owe my love of Asia to that solo experience in Laos. I revisited Laos last year and Vientiane has changed so much since then. I wonder if our paths ever crossed, Marko. It seems like we travelled here during very similar times in our lives. One of my favorite things in Laos was actually getting there (Luang Prabang) via the Mekong slow boat from Thailand. It takes two days but is so relaxing!
