I went to the beach today. It’s what I needed. I love the ocean. When I was returning home I was jamming my music, loud, like I usually do. Todays drive home was an album by Radiohead. One of the songs really rang true for me, ‘Everything in its Right Place’.
I’ve been going through a heavy physical challenge for a year and a half. It’s really humbled me, scared the F out of me, broken me down, built me up, helped me go deeper and helped me grow.
The words on this song are very simple but they meant a lot to me. Below is my own interpretation of lyrics of the song.

“Everything in its right place…” - To me life is for growth. And everything is set up for growth, and it’s not always easy. But it’s all in it’s right place to take us to the next level.

“Yesterday I woke up sucking a lemon…” - Sometimes we start off the day negative. And everything is very sour. We look at the world through that lens. We put ourselves down and everything is dark with this view.

“Everything in its right place…”. We need to keep reminding ourselves of this truth. We can forget at times. Life is school, and for growth. Very temporary. Everything is into right place.❤️

“There are two colors in my head….What is that you tried to say?”— We can have two choices how to view the world. Two colors. Darkness or Light. What are we going to choose?. What are we going to say with our lives?

“Everything (repeats over and over again)”. ~ Everything is for growth. Everything.

Sitting here at two in the morning asking myself am I real is this life a dream.. Are the people I deal with every day real I feel like it's all in my mind. When I was in the psychiatric hospital this song made sense .
