NAUGHTY DOG CONFIRMS NEW GAME IN DEVELOPMENT

So almost 3 years after playing The Last of Us 2 and its ending we got confirmation from Neil Druckmann that Naughty Dog is working on their next major PS5 Single-Player Game that will release after The Last of Us Multiplayer Game! Neil could not confirm whether it was the long-awaited The Last of Us Part 3 or a brand new IP! In this video, I discuss what I think Naughty Dog could be doing next! At this point Naughty Dog has confirmed they are done with both Uncharted 5, and Jak and Daxter! The two most likely options are a brand new IP, or "The Last of Us 3" which will likely have the return of Abby and Ellie. The Last of Us 2 ending clearly to me sets up The Last of Us Part III the sequel. Could we see a NEW Playable Character in a new Last of Us Game Naughty Dog has already decided and is at work on their next major project! It’s pretty much confirmed that they are working on a new game. If you really listen to him. He acknowledged that we want a part 3 but he’s getting it out there that a decision has already been made I think they’re making something else right now and they can’t go back on it because it’s already started so it’s most likely after this game

Part 3 ofc. I think it’d be better off to finish tlou and then move on to a new ip. That just makes more sense to me

I actually don’t think the last of us needs another game, yes the ending is sad but if they made another game I don’t really know how it would be centred. JJ’s POV when he’s older?Ellie moving on? Ellie going to find Dina and JJ? Its not that I don’t have faith in them to make a new game, Im just unsure of where it could go.

I hope in Last of Us 3 the protagonists spend the entire game trying to do something and then change their mind at the end for no reason and make the whole story pointless again.

I wouldn’t mind part 3 being Joel and Tommy at the start of the outbreak, seeing how they survived. Or of course it can continue Ellie’s story and maybe Abby’s.

If they do make tlou 3 a prequel game like red dead 2 would be sick. Kind of showing us what Joel and tommy did in those 20 years in between Sarah’s death and meeting Ellie

I don’t think it’s TLOU3. They tied the story up at the end of part 2, it doesn’t need another sequel. As heartbreaking as it is, sometimes less is more and it’s time to move on to a new IP.

meanwhile tlou factions is super underrated now and nobody plays it like people played 4 years ago .. i still remember i did a loadout for shivs only lol, they would get mad asf after the game.. nostalgia hitting hard

They still need to add the fast vault and that the player can throw bombs faster. There is a horrible cooldown when you throw anything.

I could see them making a third one but I never thought the series needed a second part. I thought joel and Ellie’s story was over with good character arcs for both but the second was amazing and I would play a third
