So after almost over three years after The Last of Us 2 and its ending, we got some more potential details/news on "The Last of Us 3" which will likely have the return of Abby and Ellie. The Last of Us 2 ending clearly to me sets up The Last of Us Part III the sequel. Could we see a NEW Playable Character in a new Last of Us Game? According to the website known as The Leak The Last of Us 3 is in production and is planned to release on both the PS5 and PS6 and it's described as in progress! The Last of Us 2 director Neil Druckman has talked about its potential recently and two years ago he confirmed that there is a plot written for The Last of Us 3. Naughty Dog likely already has the game planned and has started ramping up stuff in regard to it! According to The Leak and ViewerAnon The Last of Us Part 3 is in production at Naughty Dog! It's just not Unfortunately Naughty Dog unlikely will make sequel it's not definitely but mostly there's not gonna be TLOU 3 maybe Sony which have rights will give some other studio to make sequel who knows
