Maybe what is incredible about this film is how it chased Covid around the world. Started shooting in Sydney, production closed down due to Covid, so it jumped to middle Europe in Winter only to get into a deeper Covid bunnyhole. I would hate to think how much this movie cost to make and it could not do a theatrical release. OUCH.

The action scenes are so much fun to watch. The courtyard scene was amazing! And so was the escape after.

This is the first review I've seen of this movie, and I follow a lot of critics. I guess most people figure we'll all watch this anyway since it's on Netflix, but I'm glad to know it's worth my valuable time.

Yo. I laughed out loud when you said "Joe Russo should stick to producing or just play golf", because it's so true. I watched these two for the first tine today, and they're pretty fun movies for what they are, tho I think they need better writers for the third one. Great review as usual.

Really didn't think I'd like Extraction 1, I just thought it'd be another forgettable Netflix action movie I can turn my brain off to (I've been spoiled by the John Wick series and now my standards for action/gun-fu are way high). I was pleasantly surprised with that movie and ended up watching the second movie a few days later. I preferred the plot of the first movie, but the action from the second.

Though starting off with potential, the plot quickly got thin and scattered. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised by both movies and am excited for the third one!
