I think the “oner” is one of the most impressive action scenes I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching

The 21 min one take is one of the most exhilarating scenes I've seen all year, Sam Hargrave needs to be the stunt coordinator for Daredevil: Born Again or Punisher S3.

This was better than the first in every way. Of course it is a great example of quality action filmmaking, but Sam Hargrave also improved upon his storytelling. And Chris Hemsworth is so awesome. Extraction 3 needs to be set in Australia!

I agree that their isn't any deep character exploring or something cathartic but the moment when Mia tells Tyler how his child saw him as a hero when he walked just worked for me, it finally connected me to the lead character emotionally

Blast of a film. John Wick is a much more stylish film (cinematography wise it’s also shot in some beautiful ways) but Extraction can match it for its action and has a much grittier feel. The action is great what can be said, fantastic choreography, no shakey cam and some highly creative fights and kills. I definitely would of liked to experience it in the theatre

I rewatched Extraction after viewing Extraction 2. I felt that expanding Nicki's role in E2 worked for me. The friendship and trust aspect of their relationship made both characters more 3 dimensional to me. Also, including Idris Elba in a movie is always a good choice.

I’m glad Golshifteh Farahani is back again as Hemsworth’s fighting partner rather than romantic interest. But their relationship is rich and deep, and though not romantic, the scene where he cradles her battered and bullet riddled body is as loving and gentle as any romantic scene filmed.

Man I thought this movie was a blast. Other than the car chase long-take, I didn’t remember anything from the original, and I feel like this one worked a lot better and it surprised me with the emotions.

Just watched it and I like that I feel more attached to the characters than the first one, they make you care more which builds intensity. Overall the story and some middle stuff was pretty mid but the oner saved it and forces me to give it a good rating I don’t even know how they did that but it’s the most impressive thing ever.

Saw it this morning with my dad. He liked it, and personally, I thought it was pretty good. I would give it a solid 8/10. This weekend has been pretty good for movies imo, Black Clover movie, Flash, Extraction, I won’t know about Elemental til it hits streaming tho, but good to see its getting solid word of mouth 👍

This movie rewards a second and third viewing IMHO. There are SO MANY action events taking place in many of the major hostile encounter scenes. So many stunts taking place in one shot. My first viewing thus far, saw me distracted by just how fluid and dynamic the camera moved around, over, through and under objects and performers. This film (and The Raid) will (should) be studied at film school on how to fully incorporate your camera into a scene to capture the kinetics of an action sequence (while not giving you nausea like “Bourne” films😊).

Very entertaining film. Great action, great direction. Had a great time watching it. But I will say that I did enjoy the first film more simply because of how much that film pleasantly surprised me with the phenomenal character writing and performances that I didn’t expect at all. Extraction 2 still had all that, but because the first film was so pleasantly surprising I loved it more

The long take shots in the prison were badass 😎 it was very well shot, and some good action scenes were cool to see. He plays a little more serious character, so that was a good, very great film !! Another hit for the action franchise

Keen to see the 3rd movie and if Ovi makes a return as we saw towards the end of extraction 1 which looked like Tyler Rake standing beside the pools could be a moment forward in time for the 3rd film thoughts Sean

I had a gold ole time with this one! The first one surprised me in the best way and this one just reminded me of a modern take on 80s-90s action movie classics; decent, simple plot, great direction, and choreography/stunts.

I just finished watching Extraction 2 and I enjoyed this film alot. Going to watch part one and two again tomorrow.
