Nice review Chris. I'm glad we're getting away from the frenetic shaky-cam jump-cut type editing that was very pervasive in Hollywood for years, and back to letting the action 'breathe' in films.

John Woo's Hard Boiled (Hong Kong 1992) definitely is one of the craziest and best action movies.
